We booked Villa Marbella for a milestone family birthday celebration and we were extremely pleased with our stay. The pictures are extremely accurate, the villa is beautiful and the pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures. There were 19 in our party and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. Our expectations were exceeded for a private villa rental - a new experience for us. 

The staff was friendly and available. We went shopping with the chef so that we could pick out our groceries and supplies and it was a lot of fun! Great care was given to the quality of food and our personal requests were always accommodated - and remembered! We love you Irma, Lio and Luis - thank you for going our of your way to make us all comfortable, even when some of us weren't feeling so great. The housekeeping staff were efficient and friendly and kept the rooms clean and well stocked. The pool towels were faithfully collected every morning and washed and ready for the day's activities.   The wifi service was excellent. My room was on the top floor and I didn't use my phone a lot, but some did and I did not hear any complaints about service.  There were a number of games available to play and we took advantage of that every day. The assortment of available reading material was also good and many people took advantage of that and commented on the variety available. 

Things to note: 
You can hear the sound of the surf even though you are high on the hillside - take earplugs if you will find that disturbing. 
The villa is located on a steep hillside. The view is amazing, the area is very nice yet the roads are steep. Walking always involves a steep incline at some point. A small price to pay for an amazing location.
There is a little market area located in the neighborhood - watch for it on the side of the street around one of the curves - it is a fun experience.

If you have ANY hesitation booking this fabulous villa- don't. The property is exquisite, located a short cab ride from the romantic zone. Fantastic layout for hosting a large group- with everyone feeling they could "get away" to their own retreat when they needed. 

And, the staff was excellent. Very friendly, accommodating and professional. We were truly pampered. We asked to Mexcian food for all our meals, and the chef delivered in spades. Some of the best food we've had in PV. 

Do yourself a favor and find a reason to book.

The food and service by Leo and his team were amazing!  Leo helped us plan all of the excursions we wanted to do and we had a great time.  Our chef Louis was so sweet to accomodate our vegetarian diets and everything was delicious.  The ladies were so nice to keep the house so clean while all 14 of us were running around.  Thank you for everything and we can't wait to return.

Our group of 16 consisted of family and long time friends from Lebanon, Oregon and everyone had a fantastic time.

We tried the zip line canopy trip in the jungle, swam with the dolphins, drove the ATV on the adventure tour, went deep sea fishing, snorkeling, shopping and a day trip to San Sebastian – all arranged or assisted by Fily and Sandra. The fisherman caught 4 tuna, which Sandra prepared in 4 different ways, and as with all other meals, the taste was wonderful and our bellies were always full.

It rained almost every day but it didn’t dampen our spirits – and in fact the lightning display and the balcony was better than any 4th of July celebration.

Mary, Sandra, & Fily were superb – we highly recommend them and will request them for our return. They cleaned up after us, filled our drink glass continuously, cooked, and arranged tours & transportation – literally going the extra mile. We are very gratefully to them.

We laughed, loved & lived grandly in this villa – what more could we ask for? These vacation memories are forever.

I stayed at this beautiful home for a week. While you're here, time just melts away as you lie out in the sun or take a dip in the pool. The beach is just a short walk away, old Town / Malecon is just a short cab ride. There's also a convenience store nearby if you need any extra provisions.

The staff was excellent and attentive to your needs. They had a generous supply of beer and margaritas already waiting for us as we arrived. The meals were delicious, and a member of our group worked with the staff to coordinate our meals. Arranging transportation or reservations was a breeze with the assistance of Leo. If you're looking for something in particular, just ask! Our second night there, we were looking for a Karaoke bar and they recommended two of them.

My room was comfortable and air conditioned. It had a own private bathroom, making it very comfortable when it's time to retire. There was a sliding glass door that led out to the balcony. The balcony is furnished as well giving you another option for relaxation.

Overall, a very comfortable and relaxing stay. I would definitely come back here again!
